Skills: using an index, understanding the symbols on a map (BOLTS), the lines of latitude and longitude,
map references.
Term 2
Topic: Australian Landforms
approach: In the 11 week term, one class on each of the major landforms, then students choose one to focus on.
Students present their project to the class. The student writes a 5 question test on their landform,
and the whole test in taken in the last class of term.
